Sunscreen Agent BT-SORB-S Description

Bis-Ethylhexyloxyphenol Methoxyphenyl Triazine is an oil-soluble suncreen agent. Absorbs both UV-A and UV-B rays at about 310nm and 345nm. Only low dosage are required to achieve a high Sun Protection Factor (SPF) and UV-A Protection Factor (UVAPF). Bis-Ethylhexyloxyphenol Methoxyphenyl Triazine is not significantly absorbed into the skin, barely leads to skin irritation and does not appear to have hormonal effects. Approved for the use in sun care preparations in many countries worldwide.
