Sunscreen Agent BT-SORB-S Description

Bis-Ethylhexyloxyphenol Triazine is an organic, oil-soluble sun filter. Absorbs both UV-A and UV-B rays at wavelengths from 280 to 400nm, with peak protections at about 310 and 345nm. Only small concentrations are required to achieve a high Sun Protection Factor (SPF) and UV-A Protection Factor (UVAPF). Bis-Ethylhexyloxyphenol Triazine is not significantly absorbed into the skin, barely leads to skin irritation and does not appear to have hormonal effects.
Approved for the use in sun care preparations in many countries worldwide.
